Ruby came to IHR after being abandoned in Swan Valley. It was wintertime, and Ruby and her baby, Buttons, were left cold and without food. A woman from Emmett, Idaho found Ruby and Buttons, took them in, and then contacted IHR. Since being in our care, Ruby has recovered and is now a part of our herd. She is a beautiful, sweet lady. We are lucky to be her forever home.

Jack and Ruby have bonded and go everywhere together.  They are both very peaceful and avoid confrontation with the rest of the herd.  They can often be found in the barn eating hay in the middle of the day while the rest of the herd grazes in the pastures.
